Not Enough Input

Posted by onlineindependent on August 6, 2008

for the online nation to work, we need input from our citizens as well as active recruiters, neither of which are making them self apparent at this time. Our Citizens Works page remains sadly blank and our Citizens number low. So please, please, if you have works you would like published, send them to me, then tell your friends about us. link us, do whatever you can. If your on myspace or facebook, it would be helpful to send out a bulletin or notice of some kind to your friends.

I know that probably sounded desperate, but we are a week into this thing and its not moving along much faster than at its launch. In other news, I hope to be creating a staffed recruiting site soon, which will speed us along nicely.

Improving

Posted by onlineindependent on August 5, 2008

Okay, I am sorry about the crappy and unoriginal interface. I was hoping for a snazzy heading photo, but my graphic design skills are not exactly what you would call exemplary. However I am still trying and within a couple of weeks our few members will experience something a little more interesting then this god damned reddish striped thing.

In other news, my social networking endeavors are going quite well. You can find the Online Nation on myspace and twitter with facebook still to come. I won’t bore you with the usual junk about telling your friends about us. You should know what to do by now.

The Beginning

Posted by onlineindependent on August 4, 2008

And so it seems that I have successfully begun the long and tedius launch of the experimental online nation. I have some pages up here on wordpress and am working on the social networking aspect of this thing. Soon, people will be able to join the nation through myspace, facebook, etc. The main thing that I am hoping for is some active involvement and motivation.

The one major hurdle that I can forsee will hinder the quick takeoff of this idea is low web traffic. This post will probably only be viewed by a few people if any at all. So if you do take the trouble to read this, please, join us and tell your friends.
